Beth, Design Intern
"I completed three weeks of work placement with Ellie Ellie and it was amazing. The whole team were so kind and accommodating, they really made me feel welcome. I learnt a lot during through this experience and the team were very patient and always grateful for the what I did. I would definitely recommend this company to students looking for a work placement and of course somewhere to purchase beautiful products!"
Lauren, Design Intern
"After completing my degree in Illustration I decided to work in education. After some years I realised I wanted to follow my passion again so left my job in order to gain experience as a designer. I spent a number of months at Ellie Ellie where I have learnt so much! I first learnt how to manufacture the products so I could see the individual process and the end result. I then spent time in the product team helping to design the Fathers Day collection. This gave me confidence in designing for a wide variety of products including mugs, memory boxes, bibs and baby grows. After this I wanted to learn more about designing vinyl for jumpers and T-shirts so I started working on the wedding collection. I really enjoyed pushing myself and working with Danielle to create new products including hen do dressing gowns and makeup bags. Spending time at Ellie Ellie has provided me with so many new skills that will help me to achieve my future goals. Ellie Ellie gave me the opportunity to learn new things and support me to become more confident in myself and my abilities".
Emily, Marketing Intern
"Working with Ellie Ellie gave me a sense of what the 'real' working world was like. From creating the products themselves, to post office runs, exhibition organisation to photoshoot planning, the experience I gained with the company prepared me for life after university. Post- work experience, I undertook some further work within the company; as a content creator, which helped me land my first professional role after university with a social media agency. I now work as a marketing analyst, but the Ellie Ellie ethos has stuck with me"
